Do prisoners wear underwear (i.e. briefs, boxers, panties, bras) in prison or is it just a jumpsuit, socks, and shoes?

In Maricopa County Arizona, Sherrif Joe makes them all wear pink boxers.

Yes, I was just released from the Maine State Prison and we had boxers issued to us when we got there in fact here in Maine as in most states the inmates make the clothing worn by inmates and some come from the Bob Barker Co. like the Barker blues jeans we wore

Yes, they are allowed to wear bras and underwear, but they can't be underwired or have any kind of metal in them, because there's always a metal detector in case someone has a gun/knife... So it's the prison that supplies them to the prisoners and they're always plain white..

In jails normally the prisoner will normally funish thier own,
In most prisons they are issued if the inmate wants them
