You're joking right . If you walk out your door surely someone will be begging you to take one.

I hope you mean a kitten and not an actual new born kitten. Kittens should actually be with mom for 8-12 weeks. Check your local paper or go to a shelter.

The cat may be free but you have to think about shots, spay/neutering, food, litter etc...

Umm... You may need to look around your neighborhood for someone who is giving away kittens. Some shelters won't let you get your kittens until they're 2 pounds. Depending on if you get a kitten that's not a runt of the litter.

Why would you want a newborn kitten? it's dangerous to take kittens away from their mother too soon. You need to wait at least five or six weeks after they are born.

Look in the newspaper. There are always ads for free kittens to a good home.

NO and I repeat NO animal is "FREE"!!! get that out of your head right now!! just think about it, vaccinations, spay/neuter, yearly checkups, and vet bills if he/she ever becomes sick!!! if you don't plan on paying for any of these NECESSATIES than you have absolutly no busniess adopting a kitten!! obviously, you're not planning to go to your local shelter or SPCA to adopt a unwanted cat/kit! NO CAT IS FREE!!!!!!

Oh, and FYI: kittens are NOT for any reason to be taken away from their mother until they are at least 6 wks old!! Newborn kitten...haha, don't make me laugh!! Please do some research!

Look under pets in your local paper. People seem to always be giving away kittens.

Check the want adds, people are always giving them away, or the bulletin board at the store, church, laundromat or anywhere where people post such stuff

The pound is the best place . You can also get them for PetSmart where people rescue them and they need homes & love too.
