i prefer tea because i think coffee can be too strong and bitter. and tea seems to have a lot more variations than coffee does... (if you don't count a frappacino as being coffee...)

depends entirely on the circumstances. after sweets, I feel tea is better, but for breakfast, definitely coffee.
