I really like this guy that I've liked for a while. I think that he likes me, but he flirts with a lot of people so I don't know. I really want to be his girlfriend but I am afraid to get hurt, if he doesn't like me, or be intensely embarrassed.

You can't go through life being afraid. If you do, you'll probably end up all alone. Take a chance. If he doesn't like you the world won't end. You might be embarrassed for a little while, but at least you will know how he feels. Good luck!

Have a friend bring you up in casual conversation with him, maybe they can find out if there is interest on his part. Then you don't risk being embarrassed. If you think he is interested then tell him you like him.

Jessica is right that he may not be the one to devote your time to. Yet others are correct when they mentioned you cannot go through life without having pain. That's just the way it is.

well if he's flirting with lots of other girls..... if I was you I'd start likeing somebody else. Your right you would probably get hurt.

why in the world would you be embarresed? wheather he likes you or not you should never feel like that. there is only one way to find out if he likes you or not and thats go for it.
