You are taking it out of context. In Islam we are allowed to protect our families and to worship. If others try to provent us from worship or bring harm to our families, we are allowed to fight to protect ourselves.
Islam does not advocate wars, it preaches peace. Read the full Qu'ran then you will be better qualified to ask your questions.

Muslims are not terrorists.The rule in ISLAM is to live in peace.
JIHAD is an important part in ISLAM that is practiced under certain circumstances known in ISLAM.
In ISLAM, killing others is forbbiden and one of the big sins.
In ISLAM , even during wars, muslims are not allowed to kill women , children, old people or any one who is not a solider in the war.
In ISLAM, even if muslims take one of the enemies as a prisoner(ASEER) , they are not allowed to treat him in a bad way but ask him to enter ISLAM otherwise he is protected .
Muslims prefer any agreement ( I mean HODNA) to stop war with thier enemies even for a while than to continue the war.
They respect thier word and agreement as long as the other one continue to do so.
Even in the war,Muslims are not allowed to destroy the plants or the infra structure like what is done by jews in islamic lands all over the world nowadays.

Try reading the whole Qur'an instead of taking something out of context.
