I saw his face in the photo's, and it really shocked me.
I'm an old, burnt out cynic, not easily moved, but that was the face of a man in torment.
He needs no further punishment - he is in his own self made hell.
Sympathy is not the right word. I'm not sure what is. But when I look into his eyes, some thing inside me wants to howl like a dog.

I have had depression in the past, and athough now I could never imagine harming my children. When it was at it's worst I didn't think before I acted so if I had done something I wouldn't have deliberatly hurt them I would have done what my mind was telling me too. He didn't have control of his actions and will now have to live with what has happened. That is his sentence and he has to live with that for as long as he is alive.

Reviled, I do not believe that you can get that drunk that you do knot know you are going to hurt your kids badly.

For a person to do that to another human being let alone his own son, there has to be something wrong mentally!

He needs specialist treatment in a secure psychiatric hospital, not locking up for life in a cell.

Apparently he was sober!

the man should not of done what he did, however i do think that the man was in a state of rage and did not want a life with out his kids, as his wife was leaving him, his business was also going t**s up. so yes i have some sympathy for him. but he still should not of done it.

Do we actually know why he did it,because people with depression are sometimes are unaware of their actions. But if he was my husband i could not forgive him and I would want him to spend his entire life in prison.

i think he is the scum of the earth nothing could excuse that sort of behaviour if he said he did it because his wife was going to take the kids away from him and he didn't like that what right does he have to take one of them away from everyone i hope he gets all he deserves

Revulsion!!!!! Kill yourself if you must but don't take your kids with you what gives him the right to decide whether his kids live or die?
