No you need to go to the N.T or WA in Australia for the best

No. But chances are you may see it in more amazing colors, because the air is so unbelievably clean here. Possibly a bit like what you'd see in Alaska.

and i've been to both, so i can say that
obviously if you are in the mountains vs. the beach, the beach is going to have a bigger-looking sunset.
