I used to work for a private hospital which paid sperm donors. When the man came in we take him upstairs to a quiet room. Hand him some porno mags and leave him to it. After he had finished, he tapped on a window and gave his sample and collected £15.Not a lot of money even then.They could only donate twice a week at most, because there had to be three days between donations. Now there is a shortage, but what did they expect when they can be traced.

In medical school it was traditional for the med students to be the donor pool. It was paid... that was the appeal. The sperm bank would then inform if you had "proven fertility."
