Cycling, then auto racing and golf. Of the 4, cycling is arguably the only true athletic endeavor as it entails the entire physical nature of athletics - strength, endurance, cardio, coordination. As such, it is easier to watch as a sporting event.
The other three, while having components of athletics, are to varying degrees part entertainment. As such, I don't necessarily feel that I'm watching a sport when I watch them.

Golf without a doubt. Requires strength, stamina, co-ordination, endurance and skill (hand to eye co-ordination rhythm and timing). Golf appeals to golfers who can understand what is required to execute a perfect shot. The beauty of golf is that the raw amateur can duplicate a single shot of the most proficient pro. It happens often. Non golfers cannot watch golf effectively as a spectator sport except to cheer for a specific golfer. Golfers can watch the game for the purity of the sport.

I think they are all sports, but I will try to answer your question:
Car racing--it is very exciting to see how close they get to each other and sometimes there are amazing accidents, but hopefully no one gets hurt
Bowling--this is exciting when someone gets on a streak of strikes.
Cycling--depends on over the road or track, but track cycling is very interesting due to the strategy involved (and you can see it all)
Golf--amazing what people can do with a golf ball. I used to think it was easy. Now I am trying to play, but it is HARD.

Honestly being a spectator in any sport is not that wonderful. However, I'd add tennis to your list of boring sports to watch. Watching two people smack a ball back and forth is only vaguely more interesting than the other ones you mentioned.

I'd have to say golf because the basic swing is so complex, and on top of that there is many different types of swings due to different types of lies, winds, distances ad so on. And as with any other sport, the more in shape you are the more in tuned you are with your body and your balance, the better you are.

golf is the most challenging of these sports but i would choose cycling as more of a sport because it is more athletic than the other choices. car racing really doesnt seem like a sport to me.

I get zero enjoyment from watching all of those "sports". If I had to pick one that I would put into a SPORT category I'd go with bowling just because I find it silly plus the fact that I don't have a good argument for any of them to be there.

They are the same. It's a sport or not a sport once something is a sport there is no degree of how much of a sport it is. Some sports are harder than others, some you need to me stronger other smarter but they are all sports
