i've known this guy for 7 months, i met him through work. We've been an item for almost 3 months and things are going really well. I think a hell of alot about him and i know he feels the same. He's off on holiday tomorrow morning for almost 3 weeks and i'm already missing him. I dont know how i'm gonna survive 3 weeks whilst he's on hols! I know i had a life before we became an item but he's such an important part of my life now, i'm really gonna miss him. Does anyone think i'm crazy or think its just sweet!

well, most people I know that have been in happy long-term relationships had one or both (separately) of the couple go on holiday early in the relationship. My mates think this a very strange phenomena!
OK, you'll miss him, but I'm sure you'll get to converse with him somehow - text, phone, internet - so why not just use the time to catch up with your friends and your life which you've no doubt neglected as you've got so close in such a short time. 3 weeks isn't very long at all - and you'[ve got the 'reunion' to look forward to ;-)

awww hun!my b/f of 3 weeks is going on a gap year to south america for 8 months so think how i feel!! :'(
of course u will miss him like crazy, u only been together a short while!itll pass like no time at all!

I think you sound like a really nice person. At the end of the day its only 3weeks and im sure he is going to miss you as much as you will miss him, keep yourself busy speak to him regulary and 3weeks will be over before you know it. you have nothing to worry about. Good luck xx

i know how you feel i have been with my fiancee for 9 years and im in europe studying for 2 years and he is in south america, its not fun , but if there is love it will be much sweeter when he comes home
