The quickest solution for me that has worked:
megadoses of Vitamin C (4 x 1000mg a day) and lots of water.
Also, Aleve cold 'n sinus.
Feel better soon.... like by Saturday! :-)

As soon as you feel a cold coming on or in the winter take 1000 mgs of vitamin C aday...No more then that...If you take to much it will mess with your kidneys..Drink acouple of glasses of orange juice or eat a orange or two aday...Vitamin C from oranges is better then the pill..But doing both will help you get rid of your cold. Eat alot of chicken soup too..Something in the broth helps too...Good luck.

This is applied a little late, but water, vitamin C, rest, and chicken broth works well, also anything spicy, if your stomach can handle it, if you are of age, a Hot Toddie works well also, but only if you are resting, and not going anywhere. Remember to feed a cold, starve a fever, lots and lots of liquids.

well if you've already got the cold, 'cold fx' is a little too late for you, but next time you feel a cold coming, use that! Honestly though, sleep! It worked for me one time, get as much sleep as you can, and take lots of vitamin c to fight the cold, and drink lots of water to flush out your system!

drink some "All Natural Cold Remedy" tea with lemon and honey in it. Next time you feel a cold coming on ~ get some Airborne tablets.

drink hot choclate.. or anything hot.. TEA maybe...
and put some warrm warmm clothes on..
put like a verry warm blanket around u like a burrito..
and just lay in bed and sleep.
u need to sweat that cold out.
the hotter your body temperature is... the more it will fight off the bug.

use the 3 Ds, drink healthy, don't sweat, don't panic.
the 2nd one is actually what you should do Before you get a cold. and drink something thtat requires vitamin c, a and other minerals. But orange juice and other citrus flavord juice.

Take vitamin C tablets the first day...Total of 1000mg. Take one tablet everyday there after. Drink plenty of water and warm liquids like tea. "Blow your nose" as much as necessary. Get plenty of rest. Eat healthy=0)

Food with REAL chicken in it. Tea, water, other clear liquids. Fresh air. You should be better in no time.

use a vaporizer, and you can always get a bottle of hard liquer and drink and straight and sweat it out. and try to stay out of the rain. and go to the store and get some cold and flu medicine
