You spread them out on cookies sheets, sprinkle a little salt over them and then bake in the oven for a few minutes.

SUNFLOWER SEEDS
Sunflower seeds usually are left on the flower to dry. The flower may have to be wrapped with cheesecloth to prevent the birds from eating the seeds. Seeds may be dried in the sun or in a dehydrator at 100 °F. Higher temperature affects the flavor. When seeds are dried, they can be roasted in a shallow pan at 300 °F for 10 to 15 minutes.

Crack the shells with your teeth and eat seed inside.
OR if the seeds are big enough, you can toast them slightly in a frying pan (10 mins) with a lil olive oil, dab of butter shell them.. and eat.

toss them in some olive oil and sea salt, fresh ground pepper and a favourite spice, like cumin or sumac, bake on low, 140 dg for about 30 minutes, store in airtight container, mix into a trail mix, ground and add to hummus instead of tahini, throw through a salad, really good for you too!

you may roast some and use them as a topping for salads and such. you may also roast them in some garlic, olive oil and slightly salt, in case you want it, for a snack. as well putting diverse flavors on them it fairly is really a lot all you would possibly want to do, except you recommend on employing them in different dishes to operate some texture.

the same as you would do pumpkin seeds, put them on a cookie sheet in the oven - not too hot - and bake them. you may add salt to them if you wish.
