pre-owned is a fancy term for used.

a certified vehicle will have a very thurough inspection (about 125-200 points) and all schedueled maintenance complete, sometimes up to 3k miles past the current mileage. manufacturers often include an extended power-train warrenty at no additional cost. certifieds are also required to have little or no body damage and a clean vehicle history. 99% of the time they also come with all origonal equipment (floormats, owners manual, 2 sets of keys, etc.

you want my opinion, if it is not out of your price range, i would definitly go with a certified.

Certified cars are used, but they generally have some sort of warranty on them. The details differ from company to company, so be sure to see the contract in writing before you let that influence your decision.

Pre-owned is a rather silly euphemism for used. I don't know very many people who say they are buying a pre-owned car, so I presume it was so salesmen did not have to say "Oh, I work at a used car dealership" at social events.

used and per-owned are the same. a certified is a used car that has been inspected adn the dealer or manufacturer has issued a longer than normal warranty for a used car.

All are used. Certified means that a technician signed off and said they went over it with a comb. ....to be taken with a grain of salt I might add

They are all used vehicles. Certified vehicles may come with a very limited warranty.

nothing just some psychology on the part of the marketing department, you wouldn't marry a used wife/husband would you? No you would mary a preowned one. much better to the ears. A used wife sounds gross. A preowned wife much less sloppy
