The victim would have to file a complaint. There may be issues of witness intimidation which prevents the victim from complaining.
You would have to hire a lawyer and be very careful to not do anything which coulld be seen as intimidating the victim.
I would take the high ground, hire a lawyer and turn myself in. You make bail and stay away from that person - PERIOD. The court may treat you lightly and give you a suspended sentence and some probation.

The point of a trial is to determine what happened, and what should be done about it. Both sides go to court, and present their evidence, and then a verdict is reached about who wins.
That's the incredibly simple version. You should be talking to a lawyer who can explain the details, and give you legal advice.

I'll ask your next question for you:
what can u do if u drop the soap and someone be telling u to be picking it up?
Dude, tell me you aren't so stupid that you actually did this crime and now posted this question, after the fact, on one of the most popular websites in the world.
Just turn yourself in - you basically have already to myself and all of the other cops who waste time on here...
Enjoy prison.

What you can do is tell your lawyer whatever they need to know in order to assist them in representing you.
