Can I give you some advice?
Oh what the hell..I will anyway...
It is never a good idea to date your co-worker..have you thought the whole thing through yet? They may not like you after the date and then it makes things awkward at work. Is it worth losing your job over? What if you do have a relationship with this person, do you really want to date someone who you work with? Sometimes it is nice after work you see your significant other (who works in a different place) and talk about your day.

My final answer: not a good idea!

Do it as friends. If you really want to be close to her and get her to know you better you have to be friends. Be social & try to hang out when possible but don't let on you have alterior motives. Be a gentleman & show her your best side & be patient. She may find you irrisistble in the end & pursue you instead.

I was very interested in a co-worker but I played it cool. We went on w/ our lives & a year later we ended up @ the same company again & this time things were right & the obstacles were gone. We've now been together 10 years. :D

if you do this you have to become real good friends first.

SEcond if you do you have to really be careful, I've been there many times, And i've always been shot down, If she says no once you have to leave it at that. too high of a possibility that he or she could turn you in for harrasment.

also if you do go out with her and you break up with her you will have to see her the next day at work. yeah, you'll really enjoy your job then.

just past experience and some recent ones just points to me that it's not the best idea,

Women gossip a LOT at work. If you date a co-worker and she finds out about your tiny, little pecker, ALL your female coworkers will know that you have a teeny weeny little willy. Go look somewhere else.

you dont !!! Workplace relationships never really work out, and its most likely against company policy. And most likely people will find out, rumors start going around and well, you'll be at the unemployment office the next week.

you should keep your two parts of life separate but if you decide that it really is something you want to do, then just be yourself then they will see you for who you really are and things will happen
