By an hour and thirty minutes do you mean total in a day for people who are in a relationship? I don't think that's enough time to even talk about your day let alone all the things that involve a relationship. I feel sorry for whoever thinks that's adequate time, they must have many lonely nights.

What moron said that? My fiance and I (been together 3 yrs) spend all of our time togther when we're not at work. The person you love should be your best friend and you should spend as much time as you both like together.

My husband is in Iraq right now.. And I would appreciate a second, two minutes, ten seconds, anything to see, touch and feel, the man I fell in love with.. Time is of the essence.. It's what you choose to do with it...
Good Luck.....

i don't know if it can be quantified in a number, but i agree that you can love someone and not want to spend everyday with them. you can end up 'smothering' them, and for many people, 'us time' is just as important as 'me time'.
