Canaries can be hostile but usually between rival males.
Do you have more than one Canary?If not then did you recently change its diet or did you move its cage.Is there something different that you have done that you did not do in the past. Change the furniture around.Have a cat or a new dog? There are so many reasons why this could happen.Canaries do not like change they like usual and familiar surroundings.I think your Canary is trying to tell you something.Try and think long and hard about any recent changes you have made.Then after you correct it your canary will be much calmer.

ok I wont even evaluate the way you think it had a heart attack; besides i'm hoping it has 1m² area, and supply it clean banana, oliveoil drops and non acid end result out of your hands.. specific hamster seedmix and has a great form of places to cover, a sand tub and a wood or cork wheel... if it style of feels sick bypass to a (rodent) vet ! hamsters a residing creatures and deserve a intense degree of duty ! in case you mistreat it it is going to dislike you.
