Ok, I heardly ever ask questions, but i can't stand it any longer.
Has everyone noticed that about 3:30 till whenever this place gets flooded with questions like
" i've never kissed a boy before should i"
" I like this girl she's 13 im 15"
" I think i like this boy in my math class"
" A boy looked at me at lunch do you think he likes me"
WTF do none of the teachers now days give homework?
Do kids not have chores to do?
Where the hell are the parents when there kids are on the computer?
Is this driving everyone else crazy or is it just me?

I have a 15 yr old daughter and an 11 yr old son and i never allow them on the computer unless they are in the living room where i can see what sites they are going to and who they are talking to. I don't even let my kids get on Yahoo, i have a block on their computers.
If I knew my child was asking these questions their *** would be grounded and the laptops in my closet for a month.
I don't even want to get on here anymore after 3:30.

Some of u are asking me questions. i'll answer. i work mon-fri 8-5 & i have on a halter top in th.I'm 31 next week, my daughter is 15 do the math, thats why im a little protective, have u people not heard about all the pedophiles going after children on the net. But i talk to my children, we are completely honest with each other. They know all about sex, STD's, & drugs . But i keep my kids occupied with things besides the internet. They play sports year around, after school they always have practice for something (football, volleyball, softball, baseball, basketball) when they are home alone they are allowed to get on the net but i have blocks for porn sites & I check their history. If i found out my kids were asking about some of the things the kids on here are asking, their laptops would go in my closet for a month & we would have some serious mom/kid time. Thats what alot of the kids here need some parent time. Im not a perfect parent but i make sure my kids are safe and informed.

Yes... I have noted it.
Sometimes, I will answer some teenage or young adult questions that seem fairly harmless… However, I would much rather see these kids talking to responsible adults in person vs. asking questions of some freak…
(And, there are a few of them here…)

I don't think yahoo does a very good job of being a monitor of this site…
Plus, I think there should be a separation of adults & children when it comes to activities. Adults & children live in different worlds & there are many places where the 2 should & shouldn't meet.
The PC is one of those places where the 2 often shouldn't meet.

I can't stand it either, but then I kinda feel sorry for some of them. They obviously are not getting answers from parents, friends, etc. I think that if they were they wouldn't be on here asking about it.

I think it's great you regulate what your kids do. When I was growing up I didn't have the internet at 12 or 13 (it exsisted, just was way too new, I'm 26) to run home to. I was home alone after school and I had crap to do, homework, chores etc.

Parents need to regulate more of what there kids do. I know it's hard sometimes, my mom was a single mom and had to trust me, but it can be done.

Wow. Over censor much!. I understand censoring for kids when they are really young, but 11 to 15. Thats a little over board. Life is about learning and asking questions. So kids ask stupid questions. SO WHAT. Ignore them. Would you rather have your kids ask questions then to go out and experiment. Do your kids know that Santa Clause is not real and babes come don't come from a stork? I realize there are things you still have to block, such as porn sites and stuff like that. So what do you let your kids do on the internet? Look at the disney site? Over censorship be just as harmful as not censoring. By the way. Why are you on Yahoo anwsers? As for the little kids asking questions. Just ignore them. Don't anwser them.

I was just thinking the same thing yesterday. It is kinda crazy that so many kids are on this site and some of the questions they ask OMG.
Where do babies come from?
What is masturbation?
What is an orgasm?
The parents definitely need to step in and set up some boundaries.
No ****ing wonder the Internet is a pedophiles playground.

agree, i am an Au Pair and i never let the kids i look after go on the laptop not even to mention the Internet. What is 12year old kids doing on a dating site anyway, they are to grown up for their age but luckily its not me that has to put up with all the consequences that comes later, it's their parents who let them do what they want who is going to eat the rotten grapes..... I totally agree

It's called "children's hour" and it lasts about 7 hours. It's why diabetes, obesity, lethargic behavior and all the other wonderful accompanying disorders are so prevalent in society. This is our legacy. Are we happy with how the two income families have assigned the electronic babysitter to manage the next generation?

Amen sister! I agree with you totally...what the hell is wrong with our youth today. First of all, they can't spell, they use words like "DAT", "dis", "gurl"...half the time I can't even understand what they are asking. It is our youth who refuse to pay attention in school because now it is about who dresses better with better stuff. We can all thank Mrs Britney Spears/Federline for that one! I think we should make uniforms mandatory!!! That way, kids will pay attention to the teacher opposed to looking at someones bum crack because her low riders are to low!
