my bottle of hand sanitizer says 62% ethyl alcohol. anybody hear of someone abusing this stuff?

try drinking hand sanitizer.

the alcohol in hand sanitizers in different than the kind that is drank. Drinking hand sanitiizer can be very dangerous. I have heard of people mixing sanitizer with kool aid or other drinks and calling is "ocean". some got a buzz but many got sick.

hand sanitizer has a different form of mixture not the type of liquid you would want to drink drinking is bad for you stay away from alcohol.

No but when I worked in the big city, sometimes skid row drunks would pass out behind our door after drinking Lysol (the aerosol spray can) SO GROSS. You couldn't wake them up and drool would be flowing out of their mouths. Still just thinking about it turns my stomach.

yeah i know right! and nail polish remover, it all logically makes sense to me in the long run. im sure someone could get somewhat drunk off of hand sanitizer/nail polish remover

you can't drink ethyl alcohol. drinking it is very dangerous. ethyl alcohol is rubbing alcohol besides it's poisonous that's why the bottle says for external use only. it's for killing the germs on your hands.

Because you would drink the one, & clean your hands with the other. Try not to get the two mixed up!

theres 3 different types of alcohol, you can only drink 1 type and get drunk off of it. the others make you sick or worse

it's because hand sanitizer is different and serves a different purpose. you couldnt really get drunk off of it.
