just purchased britannica encyclopedia software....oh **** its on a dvd.......i only have cd-rom.......cant install it.........my question is can i download it from some site rite to my computer.....anybody???

Hi, I just went to this site: http://www.britannica.com/ and if you are talking about version 7 of the encyclopedia which is the newest, it says that it comes in both a dvd and a cd-rom. Maybe you can make an exchange.

You should have looked at the package before you bought it (or the description if you bought it on line.) If you can afford to buy DVD software, you can afford a DVD drive.
