Okay.. I've had mono symptoms for about four weeks, but didn't think anything of it. I've been wrestling around, playing aggressive soccer in gym, and a couple of weeks ago me and my dad got in a physical fight (being taken care of) We were rolling around, hitting, and it was so intense I could harldy make it up the stairs. I noticed something really weird going on as i was trying to make it up the steps- I was breathing heavy, my heart was racing, and I became very dizzy and light headed and I thought I was gonna pass out. It's been two weeks since that- and I just got back the test saying that I DO have mono. I'm thinking back at all of the strenuous physical things I've put my body through. And I've heard about how you can rapture your spleen? Do you think after all of the wrestling, soccer, fighting, and gym i've done mine's about done for? Considering i've probably had mono for 4-5 weeks.

No. if your spleen was ruptured you would know... Intense pain and sickness (like vomiting...etc.). I had mono before and you should BE CAREFUL and not do any strenuous activity until you have clearance from your doctor. No more sports or wrestling. Your body is tired enough fighting off this virus.. Take care of yourself so it will recover!

You would be having some severe symptoms if your spleen was ruptured! Relax, and follow doc's orders, and you'll be fine.

I doubt that you did any real extra damage. If your spleen was ruptured, you would know it. Ask your doctor.

You need to get to your doctor and talk to him or her. I nearly died from mono and do know a 20year old girl who was an athletic person who ran and she died so go and talk to your doctor
