Whenever I try to read a PDF document, my internet explorer crashes. Only if I right click the link and "save target as" and read it off the hard drive, then my browser does not crash. What can I do to prevent these crashes?

Try reinstalling Acrobat. Something is messed up with the PDF plug-in

Check internet explorers add-ons. I belive that adobe installs an add-on to internet explorer that has something to do with reading pdf documents.

Internet Explorer - Click on tools, internet options, settings, view objects.

If any of the add-on's are damaged, remove/delete it. The next time internet explorer needs that add-on, it will reinstall it.

IE wants to open an adobe acrobat page, into itself. it is a little crashy i know. just right click on the link to pdf file and click on "save target as". download the file and run it locally, this is much better that just openning it.

You may have to upgrade/install the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. That usually fixes it.
