Ramadan, this year is gonna be 23 sep. or 24 or 25. They write in the news-paper before Ramadan starts by one day because they have to make sure that the moon is (helal), like a shape of banana! Schools changes its time so student can return home early in Ramadan in the middle East!!

Do you mean this year? If so, then Ramadan is September 24 to October 23. Ramadan is the nineth month of the Hijri (Islamic Calendar)

Ramadan this yr will start on sep of 23th... +/-

in Islamic months, the month goes back 10 days...last yr the Eid was on nov 3rd...so if u go back 10days from this date...it comes out to be Oct. 23th.....meaning Eid will perhaps b on Oct. 23th +/-

it suggests that Ramdan wil start a month b4 this date...which means on the Sep.23th...

plus if the month before Ramadan was of 29days, it means there will be 30 days of fast, since lunar calendar does not have 29days in a row. however, if month b4 Rmadan was of 30days then there could b 29 or 30 days of fast. again if the two months before Ramadan were of 30days, then there will be 29fasting days...

in such way u can even figure out the Ramadan date for next yr, for yr after next and so on....

May you and all other muslim brothers and sisters have a blessed and safe Ramadan (Ameen!)

If you are Muslem, you have to know other wise It is in the first day of Ramadan month (Hijri Calander).

The first day will be when they see the moon, it might be on 22nd or 23rd of September this year.. it is 29 or 30 days, depends on the moon vision too.. The Hijri Calander depends on the moon vision in first day of every month.. Then will be visible for all.

Hope you will fast. if you muslem and as we said Ramadan Kareem
