I have a swollen bump under my eye that is about 2" in diameter. It isn't a pimple. I just got a hepatitis B vaccine today. What could it be?

I would suggest seeing an Ophthalmologist (Eye M.D.) They handle the medical side of eyes. What you describe sounds like a Chalazion or a Sty ( They are pretty much the same thing ). Could also be a blocked tear drain. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chalazion For info about Chalazions. Stys and Chalazions are ( in a not so pretty way ) pimples, but they don't look it in the traditional sense.I really so suggest seeing an Ophthalmologist because it might be something other than a sty and it's better to be safe than sorry. Also they can prescribe medications as needed or pop the thing if it's that bad. :P I've had a Chalazion and it wasn't terribly bad to have it popped. :)

It could be a stye but then it could be something else. It's impossible to even guess a diagnosis without more information, such as how long you have had it, how quickly it developed, whether it is getting bigger, if it is painful or feels hot to the touch, whether it is discolored...

Any possible infection near the eye presents a risk of travelling into the orbit (what your eye sits in) or causing a secondary infection there, and that could risk your sight in that eye, temporarily or permanently. It is very, very imporant for you to see a doctor or at least a pharmacist as soon as possible, okay? Otherwise you could have some serious complications. Please see a medical professional urgently. If it's nothing serious at last you'll know, but don't wait.

Please.
