You also may want to call around and describe him to the authorities or to the hospitals. God forbid something terrible happened to him and he didn't have any identification on him. If you saw him in the same day, call the hospitals, shelters, and authorities and describe what he's driving, whom he was last with, and what he was wearing. Little things such as tattoos, body piercings, and scars will help authorities identify a person as well. If he's got a mobile phone, there is a possibility (if he's missing) that you can get a subpeona from the police/courts and most wireless carriers can turn on the GPS (court ordered) and find him within 100 yards.... that's depending on whether his phone is on or not. If it's off, sorry.

Good luck to you, however. I hope that all's well.

Call your local state highway department and they can check accident records and then call your local hospital (s) and ask about him there. This must be a very frightening time for you, I'm sending you strength and comfort to get through this time.

Take care.

If he is your boyfriend, why don't you know? First call the jails to see if he is there. If not, call the hospital and ask to be connected to his room. If they say he isn't there, I would call his family.
