Between 8 and 9. Some people will say to wean him slowly to that time...I would totally disagree. I had this happen with my firstborn, he used to stay up until 11 pm. When we started a bedtime we just did it "cold turkey". It was a rough couple nights...but now he goes to bed at 8 pm and gets up around 7 pm. He's 5 1/2.

8:00 pm if the kid sleeps for long periods 9:00 if it is a kid who wakes up well for school. If a six year old has enough energy to staya wake until midnight you might wanna make the kid play outside or be more active most little ones crash pretty early or are at least crabby by 9pm.

i would say at 8 because all this kids take their time to go to bed isn't it (I mean brushing teath, playing a bed, reding a story ... I have a brother who is 7 ...
anyway i recommend at 8 then he would sleep at about half past nine.
Good night and good luck!

I strongly believe in bedtimes for my children. 3 and almost 5yrs old. Their bedtime is 8pm every night unless they need it to be earlier. (if tired and onrey). THis bedtime is for their sake and for mine. I need that time to recoop for the next day. Good luck.

i will not see the photo yet a pediatrician might want to help be sure even if it really is danger-free, also the U.S. authorities might want to assert if the mattress is danger-free for children (not positive what branch)
