If you are homeschooled, and I'm assuming you are since this is the homeschool section, you can go to the TEA website and look at diploma and graduation requirements for Texas Public High Schools. They have three levels of diplomas, the lowest being "barely scraping by" and the highest is an honors program. I use the honor diploma as a guideline for planning my daughters course of study, meaning she will have the same number of credits as a graduating senior on the honors program.
As a homeschool student, you are not under any obligation to follow any of those plans, as the government requirements on private schools is quite low. (check out the THSC)
However, if you plan to go on to a university or CC, my recommendation to you is that you follow one of those plans.
As far as the science requirements, I'm not sure off the top of my head, but they range from one to three or four credits. The low end may be two years of science, like I said, can't really remember.
Good luck.

To graduate under the minimum requirements, no. You have to take two credits of science from biology, chemistry, or physics. However, chemistry is usually a prerequisite to physics. Don't know if you'd be able to get through without it (maybe biology and AP biology?)

Every State has different rules. Check with the Counselor at your school or contact the District and find out. My kids took Chem in 10th grade but then we live i California. Good luck!

you might want to look at your "required for graduation" list of classes that is generally in the student handbook or somewhere in a registration packet or better yet SPEAK TO YOUR COUNSELOR and if you dont know you probably dont need it its usually a accelerated class anyway
