The same way ALL eggs of every species becomes fertile. Birds can lay eggs even if not fertilized (for example, a CHICKEN!!). So, you female will need the "assistance" of the male. Get it? Biology 101

Birds and the Bees. Not much different than humans.

Leave them alone, usually if you cover their cage, in the mornings that helps.

But basically, you must know for SURE you have a male and a female.

Many store bought birds are misslabled or when they are sexed, there can be mistakes made.

Below there is a link that you might find beneficial if you want to pursue this.

The birds have sex. The egg is fertilized in the hens body before the shell forms around it. Leave them alone and give them some privacy if you are having trouble getting them to mate. They don't usually care who is around if they are in a familiar endowment.
