It's not about normal. It's about how some people come to some kind of realization and the way they deal with that realization.

Some people don't know how to deal with life changes like, I would assume at her age, maybe some kind of new found independence.

All of a sudden she or he has more options and they act promptly on them. Sometimes they make the wrong decision and that's just too bad but that's how people find out--by their experiences.

It's too bad though that some people may get hurt along the way even themselves. That's growing up. Change is constant, and we just have to deal with it best we could.

Yeah, that seems about how it works normally. Unfortunately, just because it's normal doesn't make it a good or right thing. Would I believe her? I think it's always best to give someone the benefit of the doubt. If shes lying, that might be hard to deal with, but what if she isn't? Then who's the jerk?

I have done that but at 18. you feel like you havn't done anything and you need to get it out of your system. Oh jeeze if that didn't sound like me. Luckily my man knew what was happening he gave me two years and now we are back together having a baby and getting married. He was pissed for a while but eventuallyhe got it. i did alot of things I regret but they were all fun. the one thing is keep the sexualhistory a secretand make sure the chick tames her ways before she goes back. For me I needed to go a little nuts I was such a good girlnow people love my wild streak which only shows up sometimes.

21 is still young to settle down with someone for 3 years. It would be normal to come out of that relationship wanting to experience dating other guys for a change. Maybe she was being too promiscuous just to prove to herself that she was still appealing to other guys. I wouldn't judge her for going nuts, I would do the same! No one is perfect. But yeah, she should stop and try to be single for a while just to clear her head.

Yes it's normal. But to answer your other questions. People make mistakes. If the person learns their lesson and changes their behavior then I would have to believe them. If they keep going out and doing the same things, then it is obvious that they don't care about it being right or wrong.

Yeah it is normal especially if the guy she broke up with messed around on her..

she will see guys as something to use then drop then grab a new one when she gets tired drop him for a new one..

so it kinda feels like she is getting even for a guy using her and hurting her..she will use and try to hurt guys back..

Yes it is normal for a caged person to want to escape, but after making that choice to go crazy I personally would not want to continue a relationship with them.
