Yes it is real it is called Hashish and it is obtained whipping dried marijuana bushes into an anvil and dust flies and deposits on shelves around a closed little room. The higher the shelf, the expensiver the hashish.

Powdered form is most likely just the crystals from weed, which is what gets you high anyway..... Hashish is not powder, the other guy's chatting ****, Hashish is a resin.
