I have tried various diff times of the day the latest being 7.45 tonight, but will try all your ideas , thank you !!!

BT do have a ring back option on 150 to save you queueing at busy times, i find if i press the options to talk to someone about billing i get through quicker so maybe you should try different options when you dial 150.
Also you can contact them via their website and they usually email or phone you back within 2 days.

Next time you call, don't press the number for new lines, try billing or accounts, then if they say there's a wait, let them call you back. They say within an hours time and they did call me back after 20 minutes. I believe something like acccounts or billing, they tend to get back with customers a lot faster!

Call them and go through the queue to say you want to disconnect. You won't be on hold.

I got thru ok just after 3pm - most people are working or picking up kids from school!

it's true- better change to other providers who actually do want your custom. I did- i'm much happier- BT are a pile of poo! BTYahoo... well.... why they decided to associate with BT i'll never know is all i can say! Downhill baby!
