The reason we're such a target is because what we believe is the truth. There are many reasons why, but something to remember is that Jesus warned us that it would be this way.
"If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first" - This is really encouraging for me, because it reminds me that Jesus had to suffer a lot more than most of us ever will, and He will help us to bear the shame of being His followers.
He also said, "In the world you will have trouble, but take courage. I have overcome the world." Those who don't believe may ask how Jesus has overcome the world. Well, think of what He's done in so many lives around the world!
You've probably received more hateful responses because of your question. We will always be hated by some, but be encouraged by the words of Jesus.
Remember He's the only one who knows you completely - and He still loves you.

Some people will never believe and there is nothing you can do except ignore their statements and don't answer their trashy questions, don't fret, they talk trash about God and his son Jesus but God says they will lie upon the surface of the earth as manure, God will call all the wild beasts of the earth and all of the fowl of the air to the great evening feast.

I don't need people to agree with me about Jesus. Most people are really trashing Christians when they trash Jesus. Unfortunately, I can understand the Christian hate sometimes.

No one is out there trashing Jesus near as much as his followers get trashed but it is for good reason. Xians have proven themselves to be the worst of the worst in our society. Angry, bigoted, intolerant, homophobic, misogynist people who complain about Jeebus getting trashed but then have no problem trashing everyone who doesn't follow their tribal mythology.

What you believe in is an imaginary being made up by men (that is why the most powerful gods are always male). If you believers would quit whining and running your mouths, judging everyone else, telling everyone how to live their lives, and trying (through force if necessary) to make everyone believe and act like you do, then no one would complain about you or your make-believe friends.

here's one good reason to trash jesus
he didn't fulfill the law he corrupted the law
no man can be another mans scapegoat
if you violate the law its your dept that you created
and only you can pay it
if a man violates law and a judge lets an innocent man stand in the place of the man who violates the law
then it is the judge who is corrupt
because the judge has not brought the violator of the law to Justis
and that makes the christian god the god of Jews a corrupt god

I believe in Jesus too. It is according to scripture that, as Christians, we will be hated for our love of Jesus Christ. I think it is in how we react that will show our love of Jesus Christ to those who do such things.
Jesus said, "If you're My disciples, you will be hated because of Me."

Because some people have such low self-esteem that they have faith in nothing. Pity them.
I'm not Christian (I'm Wiccan), but trashing someone else's beliefs (even if you don't share them) is lower than low.

People get threatened by stuff. Ignorance breeds fear, and fear in turn gets people mean. Then they say bad stuff about good people.
I'm not religious and I don't believe that Jesus is the only answer, but I respect him and know he was enlightened. The fact that you are in a religion is cool. I respect you and people like you for it. It's just not for me.

Because they don't believe in Him, so they don't see any consequences/reasons not to. Unfortunately, it is extremely impolite to do this, because trashing religious beliefs is NOT courteous at all. In fact, many non-religious people consider Him one of the greatest figures of all time. However, they will be accountable in the next life if they don't change their ways.
