Because corporate America has bred all the flavor out of the varieties you buy in the supermarket. Most have been bred for longer freshness or to stand up better to shipping without damage. Some are even genetically modified (and patented!).. Flavor is of secondary importance, the almighty dollar reigns!

because people put stuff on the soil that make the fruit grow faster which also makes it not very tasty

are fruit is picket to soon.it's not allowed to ripen properly.
it has more time to ripen when it comes from other country's.
