That's a little to vague to give you any idea what's wrong. Call your vet and describe the symptoms. They'll let you know if the dog needs to come in or not.

Good luck and hope your dog feels better.

Is he limping? If so, he might just have a sore foot or a cut. I would try to seperate him from the others and pet over him to see what area makes him cry. If it doesn't get better by tomorrow, please take him to the vet. Make sure you look for ticks and cuts just in case it's something like that. Good luck.

Dachshunds are known for having back troubles. If he is dragging his legs, this can be a sign of back issues. get him to the vet for an exray. they will probably try pain meds first and 24 hour crate rest. the only times you should let him out is when he needs to eat and potty. it sounds horrible, but this is how he will heal! i have had to do it myself and my boy can walk again. you must get him to the vet!

Take him to the vet. Even if a vet were to read this, they wouldn't be able to diagnose or suggest treatment without examining your dog in person.

You are wasting precious time looking for an answer on here. If you care about the dog, you would have already taken him to a vet who can actually diagnose him in person!!
