Yes, that is definately flirting! It sounds to me like he is into you, but it is sometimes hard to tell, because alot of guys are just really flirtatious. If he continues to do those things to you, then he most likely likes you, but there is no doubt that he is doing some major flirting with you, girl.

Hi crystal you're tribal !! sure the guy is making a move on you and testing out your re-actions. Touching may be accidental but putting an arm around you is a deliberate action and needs a response from you. Either "Get lost" or "Thats nice" depending on how you feel.

Yes, that is flirting. It may be subconscious flirting or deliberate. The best way to find out for sure is to tell that person that you normally only let people your dating touch you like that, and then see where the conversation goes from there. Just remember to say it playfully.

guys should never touch a woman unless she gives him the go ahead signals. I've seen men that place their hand on a woman's shoulder when they talk with them, but not on a mans. its not a gay or straight thing. if its natural to touch someone when their talking to them then gender should not be at issue. he's seeing how far you will let him go. rest assure your not the only one he's used this tactic on. it starts with a hand on the shoulder,next time an arm around your back, then around the back and let the hand rest on the hip, sound familiar? think about it. its your life,just be carefull and don't get hurt.

Definately, casual, harmless, flirting. Doesn't necessarily mean they like you. It could be a habit or something.
