The asian market by my home sells these MAMA Oriental Style Instant Noodles (Just like ramen noodles but 100 times better). You can get a box of 30 for about 7 bucks. I get the shrimp flavor and add some frozen shrimp to it. Good, healthy, very cheap meal!

You can usually get a side salad at most restaurants (even fast food) for a dollar or so. Just get light dressing or it's not that good for you. If you have a bigger appetite, grab a turkey sandwich and baked chips. Apple for dessert.

Besides turkey sandwiches and chips. I love the new McDonald's chicken wrap I get that with a side salad and a yogurt parfait and it's like no more than 4 bucks!

Also try tuna. I buy tuna and make salads with it or sandwiches with it.

I personally like chicken patties or Chik patties with wheat Sara Lee buns and a little mayo or horseradish and whatever other toppings you prefer. Every sandwich shouldn't cost more than $1 and they're filling.

best thing is making your own sandwiches and bagging it to your classes. get more for the buck out of making sandwiches than if you bought them elsewhere. you can also go to your local supermarket and pick up tubs of macaroni salad, amish salad. most grocery stores even have salad bars where you can make your own salad. and Subway is the healthiest of all the fast food places.

try a McDonald's salad but with fat free dressing and with chiken strips in the salad. try some sandwhiches, some BK burgers or Jr. Whoppers-skip the mayo, and whatever else is fattening.

I'm in college too...Easy Mac, instant mashed potatoes, and rice. Tons of rice! They're cheap, filling, and tasty. (A bottle of teryaki can go a long way, too, if you don't like plain rice!)
