I loved Rome (and also Venice) in Italy - beautiful city, great food and wine and lovely warm people.

The whole city was like a museum of ancient history! I got goosebumpbs thinking about the gladiators, charriot races, Ben Hur, Julius Caesar - I cna go on and on.....

I've loved many places I've been. I'd like to live in New Orleans, but I don't know if I could. The first time I was down there I was doing reconstuction, and I don't know if I could live in a place so filled with tragedy.

I'd like to live in New York City, and probably will once I graduate college. I love how vibrant it is and what an amazing sense of community there is. It's so multi cultural, and to me it symbolizes what America is all about; tolerance, acceptance, dynamic living situations, history, all of it. I love New York.

My favorite places I've been are probably Ecuador, the Andes are AMAZING, and the jungle is so beautiful. I love the old pseudo Spanish architecture, too. I also love Scotland. My family lives over there (my parents are immigrants) and I love how green everything is. I feel very at peace there, and I love wandering around castle ruins, there's so much to learn.

Really I just want to live somewhere with a good arts community, good museaums and libraries, places where I can continue to learn, and a strong community. I want different people and all kinds of variety, preferably in a big ol' city, and I want to stay in the United States. I like my country a lot, and I really want to do all I can to make it a better place.

When I was a little girl, we took a Winnebago trip from Florida to New York and while going through North Carolina I always swore I wanted to live near Maggie Valley. Fate has put me close :)

My favorite place to visit so far though was our New England trip. We stayed in a house in Rhode Island on the beach and had the time of our lives. The beaches were rocky and living in Florida (Gulf Coast) my whole life, I'd never seen something like that. We also took the train into New York city. It was wonderful.

But I love living right where I am :)

Hong Kong is my favorite; I'd love to live there part-time. High energy place and the doorway to China, but expensive. New York would be a great place to live if my income was a lot larger; the most vibrant city. Northern California/San Francisco for the culture and food (lack of funds means can't live there, either.)

I've vacationed several times at Sanibel Island, Florida. It feels almost like heaven to me there.

I wouldn't live there because of the cost of living on an island, and the hurricane problems, but I'll continue to spend my vacations there.

DEFINITELY Kauai, one of the Hawaiian islands. Took my last vacation there and fell in love with it. The reason I can't live there is obvious -- it's VERY expensive to live there and there's no way I could make enough to have a decent living on any of the Hawaiian islands.

I love the mountains in Utah. They are so beautiful. We can't seem to find jobs there so we decided not to move there.
