I mean, I know that guys will say all the words you wanna hear when the heat is on, but do guys really persue things for weeks and weeks and really go out of their way just to get nookie?
I am talking about guys who on the outside seem decent... It seems hard to believe that they would really have that hard of a time getting some. Are they really that desperate? Is sex really that sacred?

i once had a boyfriend who seemed to be a pretty decent guy, who told me that absolutely everything a guy does is at least partly motivated by sex, even (his example) a guy at a stop sign who has no way of ever seeing the girl at the other stop sign, but waves her ahead. he said even that is partly motivated by sex.
but i'm not sure. my husb. is a decent guy who isn't a drooling fool and does SOME things just because he thinks it's the right thing to do, not because i dangled a reward over him.

It's not a matter of desperation. Guys think about sex about 3 times per minute, all day long. It's the way we're built. Girls think about sex less than 10% of that amount, so yes it is sometimes hard to 'get some'. Yes, guys will work for weeks, months or longer to get laid. Learn this now, and save a lot of confusion later.

I"m sure that there are some guys out there that will not say anything to get in your pants. And as for sex being sacred, look at most of the questions and answers on here, that should tell you how sacred sex is in today's world

Unfortunately the answer is yes. As a guy, I've known friends and other guys who would do anything and spend months doing it just to get into a girls pants. It isn't so much they are desperate, as they see it as a type of competition. The problem really is that sex is not held to be sacred like it should be.

I hate to tell you but the answer is YES. They will pretend to love you so much and after they get what they are truly after, they don't know you anymore. I don't care how long it takes. Months, it really doesn't matter to some of them. Not all guys are the same. I am not bashing men. Just some in general.
To some men or boys, sex is the ultimate conquer...And furthermore they won't keep the sex to themselves. They want all their guy friends to know how they had her. It is sad but very true..
When girls do this same thing, we get called all sorts of bad names. But it is okay for the guys. You never hear anyone saying anything bad about the guy.

Yeah, got us pretty well pegged there, I'm afraid.
As a general rule, guys think "Can I get it?" first...and only then do we think "Is she nice, can we get something really good going together?"
Sex is such a big taboo thing in this culture, I think our dealing with it over the ages has gotten us all screwed up. In some of the European countries (especially Scandinavia) screwing is not considered such a big deal...attitude towards it is more like our attitudes about making out. Nice, and you don't just do it with everybody you run across...but it's a nice way to end a date, etc.
And curiously...they don't have NEAR the problems we have in this country with sexual dysfunction, perversion, abuse, etc.
GOT to be a lesson there somewhere...

Lots of guys will do anything at all. This annoys me to no end as it is just using women. I think about 70% of men should be shot for this exact thing. Thank you for raising the point. You should get to know someone before even thinking about sex. Thats just common sense, otherwise you will regret it... and in a case of my friend.. get AIDs at age 13.. She was so full of life before she found out... Owned is all i can say.. Not like you werent warned..

I have seen it happen. A guy chases a girl for weeks, gets it and then there out.
I think if I guy just wants sex, he should tell the girl up front. Some girls are down with that, instead of going around, pretending to like a girl, then hurting them.
Some men suck!! But not all!

girl, i have heard it all from guys wanting into some pants. i can't believe some would say the things they do. guys are mostly dogs and think with the wrong head 24/7. it seems to just be a part of life.

UM....
YES! they will say ANYTHING and go out on several dates, the ones that have money to burn will buy their way in.
That why it is smart to make the guy really work for it.
they will want you, and be wayyy more interested in you than the girl that gives it to them faster (at least the ones that are worth your time)
*** by the way Ive been with my man for 5 years (boyfriend/girlfriend) and 2 months married and he still says just about anything to get into my pants.... hahaha.
