There is one that i possibly might get and its 3-4 months old, but i have two cats.
Im scared to see what would happen if i brought him home.
Do they shed all year long or only the 2 times during season change?

I'm sure you could accustom a husky puppy to your cats - especially is the cats are relatively dog friendly.

A husky is a northern breed and as such, they shed a lot! They need regular, very thorough brushing (if you can get them to like being vaccuumed it would be great), but they'll still lose hair.

Above all, these dogs need a LOT of exercise. If you really enjoy running or walking, a husky would be great!

If the puppy is properly trained, the cats should not be an issue. My uncle had a husky and 3 cats and they coexisted very well!

They do lose hair year round, but its particularly bad in the spring(we have a Shepard/husky) I recommend brushing twice a week (or more as needed) I have a slicker brush and a shedding blade and they work wonderfully!

They shed in massive amounts twice per year but they also shed some year round. It is a pretty fair amount of hair all the time.
They are escape artists and can go over under or through almost anything
They live to run
If you run they are great if not you are going to have to be very very active with them to keep them from escaping to run.
They are beautiful dogs and very fun for an active person.

They shed heavier twice a year, but there is a constant shed throughout the year. I would also be worried for your cats. Huskies are smart, but can be a handful to train. They also need a lot of excercise and room to play. If you can put up with the shedding, train it and give it the attention and excercise it needs, then get it.

No they shed all the time. Constant brushing helps keep it under control. My brother has two and he does have a cat and the dogs are fine with it. They were introduced at a young age so the dogs have had no problem living with the cat. They are great dogs but are high energy and need plenty of exercise.

If you are a librarian, check out a book on them. I think they are stupid. They shed once a year starting on January 1 and stopping at midnight on Dec 31. But you can take the fine wool that is one them, card it, spin it, and make a sweater out of it.

My in lawshad one at their farm and it liked to eat the chickens- even though they had her from a puppy and she was raised around them. I don't know about shedding, but I believe they need to be brushed frequently.

They may get your cats. Huskies prey drive is always strong.

They want to tear up anything they can get their teeth on even once they are mature.
