If the guy isn't used to doing it that way, it's very easy for something to go painfully wrong. It's definitely not something I would even propose unless I'd been with the guy for a very long time and I knew he would listen to me if I told him to stop or slow down or back up and try something again.

It depends on how big the man is,how relaxed the woman is,if he starts slow and KY is used.My husband and i do it at least once a week and we have been togather 10 years and if something isnt right than it hurts.
