If you are noticably pregnant, they know that you will be taking a materinity leave in a few weeks or months...compnanies see you as a liability. No matter how hard you work, if something would happen and you would lose the baby, due to something you did at work (or not) companies have been sued...legally they can't just come out and say we won't hire you because you are pregnant...That discrimination....but they have ways to get around technicalities, when it comes to you being a liability to the company.

I do not think that you are doing anything wrong, but I do think that most emplyers now days view a pregnant women as a big warning sign... They think that they will not be dependable. They might go into labor and have to take alot of time off, or they might already have kids and need to take time off for them... I think that employers are just worried about covering your shift.

it's just the fact that ur pregnant.. it depends on how far ur along to.. alot of employers don't want to hire pregnant women who r in their 2nd & 3rd trimester cause then they'll have to pay u for maternity leave when u haven't even invested that much time.. then they won't know if ur gonna return or not either..

i say u should just enjoy the rest of u pregnancy and make the best of it..

what happened w/the father???

You probably aren't doing anything wrong. If you are pregnant (and showing) places probably don't want to hire you because you will have to take time off when the baby is born. I don't think that's right of places to do that. Good luck to you and your family.
