Crusty sores with hair loss. Kind of oozing and they seem to be causing her pain. Not fleas, and not ticks.

This sounds like an allergy. You can help your dog by giving it the following remedies:

1. Zinc 50 mg once every other day after food
2. Vitamin B1 500 mg once every other day after food

Please give the above for 3 weeks.

Adding fresh fish into the diet would also help. Avoid Coley, that is bad for dogs, but you can give salmon, which would be beneficial, about twice a week.

Please let me know how your dog is in 7 days. There should be an improvement in about 4 days. The sores will start drying off.

I have 5 dogs, myself! My greyhound was found wondering on a highway covered in fox mange, I took him in and healed him entirely with food and food supplements. I adopted another little dog, a yorkie/poodle croos that had exactly the same problem as you describe, and the sores were gone in about 10 days completely.

All the best!

They are called "Hot spots" and are nothing to worry about IF YOU TREAT THEM RIGHT AWAY! call your vet and tell then you have hot spots, and they will sell you a product called "Genta Spray that will heal those hot spots pretty quick. You might want to gently shave the area around the spots.

I had this trouble with my dog and my vet told me she had something wrong with her thyroid. I began giving her the thyroid medication prescribed and the sores were gone in a month.

I would take her to the vet. I knew a dog that had those and they didn't take him to the vet soon enough, so he had them permanitly.
