Bombings, mortar attacks kill 39 in Iraq.

BAGHDAD, Iraq - Police said Wednesday they found the bodies of 65 men who had been tortured, shot and dumped, most around Baghdad, while car bombs and mortar attacks killed at least 39 people and wounded 78 more.

Two U.S. soldiers were also killed — one on Monday from enemy action in restive Anbar province and the other Tuesday by a roadside bomb south of Baghdad, the U.S. military command said. 24 Marines were also shot and wounded. As one troop said "Why did Bush say "Bring Um On"?

The U.S. military said it could not confirm all the execution-style killings but did say there were many dead.

"It is looking like about a 50 percent discrepancy on execution-style killings so far," said Maj. Josslyn Aberle, chief of the media relations division for the Multi-National Corps- Iraq. The Marines admit they need more men to do the job but Mr Bush will not allow more troops into Iraq. The Maines state they are getting beat.

My views on this is if this is a war then fight if not bring the solders home. Guard our own borders and let the other countries worry about there own.

Why ask the U.S. marines? Iraq has over 220,000 newly trained police officers and 134,000 soldiers. Call Iraq's "911" and complain. There are plenty of Latin American countries such as Haiti, Mexico, El Salvador and Columbia that has mass gang rampage, but they rarely make the news because the lack of U.S. soldiers. Iraq has to take charge of their own problems now, because the U.S. military is probably going to be gone in 2008 or sooner.

Another solution to one of our country's problems...
Bring all our troops home from Iraq to guard the border. When they catch an illegal immigrant crossing the border, hand him a canteen, rifle, and some ammo and ship him to Iraq .

Tell him if he wants to come to America then he must serve a tour in the military.

Give him a soldier's pay while he's there and tax him on it.

After his tour, he will be allowed to become a citizen since he defended this country. He will also be registered to be taxed and be a legal patriot.

This option will probably deter illegal immigration and provide a solution for the troops in Iraq and the aliens trying to make a better life for themselves.
If they refuse to serve, ship them to Iraq anyway without the canteen, rifle, or ammo.
Problem solved

The problem lies with the Iraq police and military forces and their lack of discipline. This is the job they should be doing. We are only their to help stabilize the region and provide security while they get their s-it together.

fight a conventional war - but there is not conventional war there to fight. You might want to expand delta force - green berets - rangers - seals - . Then you will do something about iraq.

Why don't you go over there and ask them what you can do to help rather than sitting here complaining about the president the war and america?

let's get our men out and level the place. destroy anything that moves (infrared cameras).

i say desperate times call for desperate measures. and bush doesn't measure up.

we shouldn't have gone there in the FIRST PLACE. we had no business being there.
