when they referred to the soon to be ex... you were told "well she's still my wife" ? Divorce is 2 months out from finalization... should I let him go to figure out what he wants?

Well he obviously has some emotions for the ex so what do you think?

First off, are you the "other woman"? If so, you might not enjoy the terms that are being used, but at this point the man you're with has had an ongoing relationship with "the soon to be ex" (as you put it). You cannot expect him to just write a history off as if it were nothing.

I really know nothing of the past for any of the people involved in this, whether or not he left his ex or the other way around, if he was having an extra-marital affair or if he met you after they separated....basically, everything on your end of this is a mystery to me.

I would say cut the guy a bit of slack, be understanding in this time, and with time you'll see what happens.
