If you took away all past church experiences you may have encountered, or all good/bad interactions w/ Christians, any encounter you have had with Christians (in the media, real life, etc)...would the Gospel of Jesus Christ be appealing to you?

Why or why not?

It still would not be appealing to me and I would not be able to believe in it. I see no reason to believe in only one deity in the universe. I am a polytheist. I don't believe in the concept of an all-positive deity, an all-negative deity, an all-knowing deity, or an all-powerful deity. I do not believe in any type of hell or the Christian concept of heaven. I believe in reincarnation. Since I believe in many deities, I also believe that ther are many "right" ways to worship---I do not believe that there is only one "true" way. As you can see, Christianity has never been an option for me. My basic beliefs are too different from Christian beliefs--I would have to change all of the basic things that I've believed in from the time I was a child and I would have to turn my back on my deities who have always loved me and given me guidance.

No defintiely not. I can never follow a religion that shows women in inferior light - Eve did something so hence forth all women shall bear the pain of bearing children .........how chauvinistic is that ..........

Child bearing is a beautiful experience and is not all that painful. Some religions say that a woman is the highest in the circle of life because next to creating life - which god alone can do, she brings life into earth which is the closest thing to god. I cannot accept any religion that looks down upon anything / anyone. In fact, I like hinduism as it not only respects women but, clearly states that man and woman are equal. Also it does not dictate that this is how one has to live life. It merely says that each one is responsible for their own actions which take them closer to or farther from salvation. This awakens the reasoning in a person and leads him/her through life.

That's is a great question. I would have to say that it is only because of the bible that I can believe there is a hope. The gospels tell us the way we can have an eternity with the very one who created us, what could be better then that.

Is those past experiences that makes you realize that you don't deserve the Grace that the lord has given you. You don't deserve the sacrifice that he made. Plus is knowing all those fake christians, and all those hypocrites that helps you not to turn like one of them. Not to live a double life. Not to preach and not practice.
Think of it this way
Every person that you meet untill that taught came to you is preparing you for something greater that God has for you.

What is the core of Christianity? I don't think it has one. There are some good ideas bantered about and some bad ones. The whole Jesus, God, Satan thing is myth. Take away past experiences and I would still remain unconvinced of the existence of any gods.

No. The Gospel, good news, is that you should put your trust in an innocent mans death. I don't follow death cults.
