I don't know what to do. Two days ago, this girl smiled and said hi to me as I walked past her in class.. I went back to my seat and I saw her looking over a couple of times at the corner of my eye. Yesterday, that girl whispered "Do you want to go out with me?" I asked her if she was joking around because I did not know what to think. It was the first time I had been asked out. Today, I learned that girl once asked another kid out when he was mad, but supposedly she did not mean it. I am not ugly or a geek or anything, so if she was playing a joke, I don't know why it would be on me. I don't know what to do.

I don't think it would hurt to ask her, it sounds like you like her and might be willing to go out with her. You wouldn't know unless you ask!

If you like her and she says that again say, "Sure, I'd love to" but if she then says she was kidding, laughs or whatever, then you know this is a person to stay away from and not consider a friend. Remember to always have confidence in yourself and who you are as a person. People will play jokes on you and sometimes try to make fun of you, thats just how some people are, especially young people. They feel the need to make others look foolish so they will feel better about themselves. So when it happens remember people who do that to other people are the ones who have a problem, not you. Always be confident of who you are as a person.

Talk to her in private. Ask her then, That way if she is playing you, she loses the cheap joke of trying to humilate you.
She may not be playing you. The only way to find out is to ask her.

Sounds like you are in what between 12 & 16 , Girls your age love Drama, Skip the drama, hang out with your friends & wait till you are older to go out with a girl, we all know "going out "@ your age means she likes you

hmm this looks like a tough one m8. i'm guessing you're still young because this girl confused you when she asked you out. Well to see if it is a joke just check if her friends are laughing when she's near you or if she's trying to embarass you. i mean if there's nothing wrong with you there's no reason she wouldn't go out with you. Just be confident in yourself mate. try sitting next to her in class, talk to her see what she's like, try her out eh and if doesn't work out, it just didn't eh. just relax, be yourself and good luck :-)

my friend, the best thing to do is, when you see her in class again pull her to the side and be honest, tell her what you think and let her know that she should'nt do to others what she wouldn't like for others to do to her.and if she was serious about going out and you like her take the chance,but remember always wit respect.

dont even trip off of that girl cuz if shes asking a guy out shes the one thats desperate not you, unless you are shy. and if you heard about this girl asking out other guys why would you take it seriously?
