You will need to contact the designers that you are interested in. For the record, you just missed the Las Vegas designer show last weekend and the next (in Vegas) is in April. These designers have a set minimum requirement to maintain your dealer status which will run you up to the "hundreds of thousands of dollars" range EACH season . . . four times a year. Some are cheaper than others, but it still gets pretty pricey when you consider that the average dress is approximately $600-$2,000+/each and you are usually required to order 6-10 dresses each season. This is why so many wedding salons go out of business in such a short time.

Feel free to contact me through my website if you need more information.

Good luck!

It's a business like anything else. You have to contact the vendor (designer/maker, etc..) and they will send you an application. You will need a shop, and many times the designers (good ones) will want photos of your shop (to be sure it's nice enough), details on your clientele target and your business budget, etc... Being a business, you will need to show that you have good credit and that your business will be profitable, or they won't want to send you their (usu. expensive) dresses. Good luck! If you don't know much about business, then you should take some courses at your local college, or contact them and they may have advice on local business associations that can help you come up with a plan for your idea.

You need to set up an account with the goverment for a store or biz. They will give you tax number and you will have to think up a store or biz name. Then you need to contact every designer that you want to carry and ask what their qualifications are for being a dealer. Sometime you have to send in a picture of your store front... sometime you have to order a min of $20,000... each designer and company will vary. You will need a lot of start up money to do various designer goods.
Good luck.

First of all--why are you asking this question in a chat room? There are free organizations for small business owners to get free advice and financing to upstart their businesses.

If you are truly wanting this information why not contact the actual vendor/suppliers for wedding dresses & supplies. They usually have terms and conditions for payments for their products. You should never start a business without getting financial training and advice. Contact your local chamber of commerce or better business bureau for information for "Free" advice.

All you need to contact the designer and state your wishes. If you have a website you can also link the designer's site to yours.

Good Luck!

If you don't know, and you're asking the general public.........you probably shouldn't go there. Maybe just buy one put it on and run around your house with no panties on.
