I want to get another one but I feel like I was so lucky with this one and I'll just be dissappointed with any other one. How did I pick such a good dog? Any thoughts?

I have a red nose pit bull that some one gave me when my Dalmatian died after 15 years, ( almost like losing a child ) but i took him because my son really wanted him and i feel the same way, he's great. But after 2 year i thought he was a little lonely so i went to the dog pound and asked if they had a puppy i could take home for a week to see if scrappy - doo would like him and they let me. Unfortunately he didn't and they took him back. you may want to try this

I think just like people, dogs have their own personalities and some people get along together and are great just like dogs. All breeds have breed characterisitcs and some match your personality better. I do not know what type a dog you have now but check breed descriptions to narrow it down. Dogs are also a product of their owners, and it sounds like you did a great job with yours. If you put the time into the dog you will have another great dog.

You just probably picked the dog that caught your eye! or that was one of the last dogs left! We picked out our second dog just like that! She was the last female left and she is the best companion ever! My husky unfortunatly i wasnt so lucky with her, shes a very difficult dog to have patiences with, but i still wouldnt give my dogs up for nething!

Different dogs = different experience. I felt the same way and ull discover that it just amazes u with the different personalities. Go ahead get another one. Good Luck
