I am a weight-loss coach, and no, none of those diet pills work. I have a program that would work for you though. It is a very simple one too. Depending on how much you need to lose, I can personalize a program that will get the weight off and even aid you in your menopause. Please check out my website, fill out the contact page and I will get you all the information as far as the menopause products. The diet information is on that site. I wish you well.

Forget the diet pills. The quicker the fix, the shorter it will last. Stick with you're walking exercises. The more you do, the stronger you'll become, and as you lose weight and get stronger it'll become more and more easy. Look into getting some soft knee braces or insoles if you're experiening difficulty.

Just watch what you eat. Fruits instead of sweets, water (and plenty of it) instead of soda, healthy snacks, and portion control.

You could also try low-impact exercises like Pilates. Most of the exercises are done laying on the floor. You might not be able to do all of them when you first start. Just stick with it and do the best you can. It'll get easier. Some weight training would be helpful as well. Adding weights not only boosts your metabolism, it helps to build stronger denser bones, and fight osteoporosis.

Everything you do will seem hard when you first start. You'll be sweating, panting, hurting (some), and feeling like you want to quit every time you do it. Remind yourself that that's how you know it's working. Don't be hard on yourself if you can't complete some exercise. Just resolve yourself to do (what feels to you like a terrible job of it), again and again. After a while, you'll start to notice that you can do a little bit more or go a little farther than you were. As strange as the comcept might seem right now, somehow IT DOES become a habit. You'll get to the stage where you just won't feel right if you haven't done your exercise for the day. It takes time to get out of shape, and it takes time to get back into it.

Pills and fad diets aren't going to give you what you really want and need. If they really worked, you wouldn't keep seeing a hundred new one's come out every year, because everyone would be thin from the first one. What you want is a healthier body for the rest of your life. Only a change in you lifestyle that becomes a habit can do that!

Best of luck and much success!

I've been on the Cambridge Diet for several months now along with multiple family members and we're all having tremendous success. My cousin is 5'4, over 250 lbs and is almost ready to go in a wheelchair because of her weight AND she's going through menopause. She lost 20 lbs in the first 2 weeks on the diet and it seems to really be helping with menopausal symptoms as well because it's soy based. See the link below for details and for a good distributor of the product. Most purchase through the internet because it's not sold in stores. It comes with a money back guarantee too and has been around for over 30 years. FDA approved.
