I'm not so sure I have a full answer for you. I'm going through a similar thing with someone I've been friends with for over 4 years. We started dating 5/05 and he has the same "control" over me. It's not like I'm like that with anyone else either. For some reason if he says it, it's like "Simon Says" I do it. I do everything he asks and then some. For the past couple months though I've been getting better at not doing exactly what he wants when he wants it. His parents spoil him rotten, (he's 19). They just don't let him have any consequences for his actions, and he's done some pretty stupid stuff. I think that it's a consious effort to not attend to his every whim. We're not dating anymore which is good and complicated at the same time. I'm not sure if you plan on marrying him, but from personal experience, it's probably not where you want to be in 5 years. Getting a divorce from someone like that could be near impossible. I guess the best advice is just to talk to him about it, be honest about what you're going to work on. Tell him if you're not going to stop doing a certain activity to attend to his command. Then the hard part, sticking to it. Try to remember that he'll be mad, but then get over it. Also try to tactfully point out examples of the unfairness. This may be difficult, I know that my guy doesn't see these situations as unfair. Tell him how it hurts you. Explain (maybe even in a letter) to him what exactly you expect from him, and what you expect of the relationship. But remember that no matter how hard you try, or what you do, you can't change him. So worst comes to worst, don't be afraid to go find someone else who appriciates all that you do. Hope it helps! Feel free to contact me if you wanna start a support group, lol.

You are headed for big trouble because you are acting like a mindless door mat. You have rights in a relationship. If you give up these rights, you could be abused. If he is controlling, you need to get out of the relationship and find someone else. He will make your life a living hell.

You let this happen. You chose a controlling guy to be with, and you let him control you.Don't let it continue, grow a back bone, face him, talk with him seriously about it, stand your ground. Otherwise you'll just let people in general walk all over you.

But don't become a b*tch. There is a balance. And some girls fail to balance, and become warped and arrogant. Others become fragile weaklings who always cry victim. Don't be either.

He has no respect for you and he's not hearing you...and he's just a boyfriend? Not good. You allowed him to dominate you from the beginning...and now you can't handle it. Drop him. Don't let this happen again in your next relationship. It's really up to you...no one can treat you like dirt, if you don't allow it. Learn to be more assertive.

Its alittle hard for me to understand what your trying to ask but it sounds like you need to stick up for yourself alittle more. If he has that much control and will not change then leave.
